I made this tote from directions I downloaded from the internet and from scraps. I added the grommets and I really like how it turned out!

Nice job. I like your addition of the grommets. Looks great. Thank you for sharing.
Can't blame you for like the way it turned out....it's really nice and looks roomy!
great job
Thank you all so much!
The bag is called a "Diana Hobo" from elizbeth carroll designs. The site is thinkliz.com/2009/02/20/diana-hobo-free-pattern. This is the first time I used the grommets. The weren't hard, but a one did "slide" and I had to pop it off and resposition a couple of times. I wonder, if one could glue the fabric to the grommet to hold it in place while placing the other one on and pressing down. I hope they will last. I'm sure open to comments/suggestions from experienced grommet users. |
Love it!

Sooo very cute! I bet you get a lot of people asking about your tote when using it.
I use my bow tucks and everytime I'm in a store someone always asks where I purchased it. It makes you feel so good! |
Nice bag. The grommets are very popular now.
Did you find it worked out OK, as per the pattern instructions?
Any words of advice to those of us who might make one too? Please? and Many Thanks!! |

Cute! Did you make the straps one long piece? I was thinking that would work, then when you put it over your arm the straps would close the bag....Hmmmm.
Beautiful. Where the gold things hard to put on?
Awesome!
I really really like that.
