Just beautiful! But learn to enjoy the process and don't worry about so many pieces. I hand quilt my quilts, and if I thought much about how many stitches there were, I'd lose my mind! You have a wonderful start to your "journey!" Enjoy the trip -- quilts always keep so many memories for us!

So after some marathon sewing sessions (thank God for three day weekends!!) I've finished the inside blocks and two of the corner blocks. Now on to piecing the borders. Wheww~!
