So I love doing these one block wonders and its horrible because just as I get one started I find more fabric that I want to make one out of! so I'm getting this today..but I should try to finish my current one first right? Haha. I never thought is have this many WIP! Oh well....

What do you guys think? Its a 24" repeat.

i just bought fabric to do my first one too. how do you know how many repeats it has and then how do you determine how wide to cut the strips?

I saw this in JoAnn's the other day and fondled it for about 10 minutes before turning away; I have three OBW-eligible fabrics sitting home already! I think this will be fabulous, nice choice!

All those nice colors will make it a knock out. Have fun creating and spinning the triangles.

dmeyers i'm waiting for an answer on this one, how do you know how many repeats on the fabric.

I take the fabric bolt...roll it out a little..Find a spot that sticks out to you..then find it again (or where it repeats again). Measure the space between those and thats the size of your repeat :) Make sense?

I looked at that for a obw. Think it will be great. Will be looking forward to see how it works up.

So I put a few hexagons together last night...this is what they turned it to look like...wish I had more design wall space so I could both my OBW projects up!

This fabric will make a beautiful, colorful OBW. It will be fun to see what blocks come out of it. I have my OBW fabric and hope to get started on it this weekend.

You have a good eye. This is definitely a good OBW selection. Do you carry a set of mirrors with you when you shop? When I see something interesting, I put the mirrors up and slide them around. Really don't even need mirrors with this print. It moves beautifully!

One block wonders are so much fun, but they are very addictive. Good luck.....That fabric should be fabulous...
