This is absolutely gorgeous. I have made a pieced Bethlehem star quilt and a whole cloth star also that I designed, but this is by far a lot more interesting.

polly13 07-02-2010 06:51 AM

This is absolutely beautiful. The silver adds the pizzazz; the quilting is the perfect finishing touch. So glad you shared large photos with us.

Ritzquilts 07-02-2010 06:53 AM

Love it, glad you stuck with it. What's next?

QuiltingGrams 07-02-2010 09:20 AM

That is really gorgeous! Sometimes those big paper pieced projects seem daunting, but they are worth it when it is done. Wonderful quilting to highlight the pattern.

texas granny 07-02-2010 09:27 AM

Besides the PP the quilting is great.

btiny36 07-02-2010 09:44 AM

Thank you.
The silver and one of the shiner blues is actually lame that I fused a stabilizer onto, and then quilted with as normal. (had to be careful when pressing because if it touches too long it would melt) The dryer does not hurt it though. I liked the shine it gave off.
