My "In Progress"
2 Attachment(s)
I have a niece that has wanted Hawaiian style quilts for her babies when they are born. I have posted the two previous quilts. One was a Surfer Baby about 18 months when they knew they were having a boy. She is due in March but does not know the sex of the baby so I found a pattern that I loved and you see how far I am. I have done some applique stitches and some quilting since I took this picture. It will be a wall quilt because that is what she always asks for!!! Thanks for looking!!!!

I'm ready, the fabrics make me feel surrounded by water and the orange, the heat and sunshine of the day going to the beach. Sooooo wonderful. Thank you.

Granny Sharon, Where do you shop for your quilt fabric where you live? A group of us from across the Columbia make a trip down several times a year! Thank you.

Awesome job!

That is a problem, because I shop all over the state in shop hops and come to Fabric Depot a couple of times a year. Also shop online @ Equilter, Hancock of Paducah and many other online shops! My favorite local shops are, Greenbaums Quilted Forest, Quilted Patches (? Corvallis) and especially JanniLou in Philomath. One of the best shops for batiks in Oregon is the shop in Roseburg. They are my favorite, JanniLou a close second!!!!
