Here is the quilt I made for our department's Christmas Party. It was the Grand Prize door prize. This is the 2nd year that my boss has paid me to make a quilt to give away. The first one was the Batik Beauty I posted last year. I like them both, but prefer the the first one.

Oh that is a beautiful quilt. I would very much like to know where I might find the pattern. I would love to do something like this.

It's beautiful. I'd like the pattern name if it's not a too hard. My next quilt will be auctioned at a Cystic Fibrosis dinner dance. I'd like to do it in batiks. The art teacher who asked for it suggested neutrals, but that's not me. Unusual for an art teacher.

BTW, my Quilting Friendship Group (known as Sewful Sisters) has decided to make this pattern as our group project for the first quarter of 2011. Pretty cool, hunh? |

I think it is a pattern called "It's Square to be Square" and was in a magazine a few months ago. Can't remember which one.

So....the pattern is Squares in the Air, Page 60 in the Oct/Nov 2010 QUILT magazine. That particular issue has several really neat fall patterns in it. If you can find it, it's absolutely a keeper!! And, NO, I will not be selling mine!! :-)
