Finally got her done and she is on the wall and watching over me! Learned lots and lots putting this together - mostly what NOT to do, but she's family now!

Very nice. I printed the pattern but haven't started yet. Did you use regular white paper for piecing? Or did you copy the pattern on to thinner paper?

I used Tailor Perfect Piecing sheets (8 1/2 x 11) for the first time and really liked them. Unfortunately, my printer would cooperate so I had to pencil trace the pattern pieces on the sheet. I didn't tear it off when I was done as it is a perfect facing and keeps the project crisp.
