You amaze me! The 4 moves would have done me in.
I've had many different sizes of sewing spaces - starting with a whole room down to the dining room table now. I've discovered I'm much more creative in smaller spaces. Wishing you a comfortable adjustment, many hours of happy sewing and lots of creativity! |
Sometimes we have to make do with a small space. I have
never had a big one. |

As asked, here is a pic of the machine' well and acrylic.
The well was made for another machine and is not deep enough for my Bernina, so I cover the edges of the hole with an acrylic made to fit around my Bernina and then add the honey comb to level the machine. If I use the honey comb alone it floats. If the well was a little deeper the acrylic alone would do, no need for the honey comb. Because of the way Bernina bobbin loads, is not possible to make the home completely covered. A square hole gives me space to change the bobbin by just moving the acrylic cover. Clear as mud? |
I love what you have done. I think you are amazing. You have made do with what you have, moving 4 times, and adjusting your table to work with your machine. It shows that no matter what the adversity, you WANT to quilt, and it shows! Great job. Go getum girl.

Wonderful job. Let me tell you a story, my first queen size bargello was done in a motorhome, what a job with all those small pieces. I did it, so if you love to sew, you can manage the space. Keep up the good work. Barb
