I was lucky enough to win the bid on this featherweight for $120.99. It badly needed physical restoration, though it ran fine. DH spent the week stripping, painting and putting new decals on it-did a pretty good job, I'd say. But-in the end, it did cost almost as much as if I'd just paid the regular going price! Still working on refurbing the case.

Wonderful job. If you had boughten it higher priced you wouldn't have been able to tell how rough a condition it was in..... and how wonderful your dh is. Now go be good to him.

Actually-I threw away the receipt and the packaging-but-I just googled to find them-ebay had many and there were many other sites. I paid around $18 for them. They were water-slide decals. After stripping, painting and applying decals, my husband applied several coats of clear coat also, to protect them.
