Hi, I went into the site and by pushing the translate button was able to read the directions. Where does the base fabric come from? I don't think I have seen that before. Can it be purchased or is it something that was hand done? Wonderful site and your blocks are beautiful. Thank you.

Thanks! Those are very easy! In this post [url] http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-139362-7.htm [/ url] on page 7, there are directions to the Tutorial to turn technique. These blocks are variations of the same technique. If you need anything, please let me know. A hug! |

Thank you very much! In Spain it is sell an interlining with narked grid. It is a fuse, but no glue and is marked grid. But in my country not achieved, so I mark the "grid" on a lightweight fabric with a pencil. As you can see in this picture. I hope answers your question. A hug! No, my grid is in centimeters. It is 15 x 15 cm., The lines are 1 cm. and central 5 x 5 cm. But I made a grid "comparative" in inches. You can find it at the end of page 1 of this "thread". Tell me if that answers your questions, please! Thanks! |

I love both of the blocks, the folded fabric makes them really unique. Nice job.

Claudia http://quilting.about.com/od/blockof...le_quilt_3.htm Beautiful job Argentina!!! Your link is "Foundation Piece." This technique is totally different. Just then sewing the fabric turns ... but this fabric should not "stretch" beyond the next mark. But is carried up to the mark and "rests" on it. This creates an excess of fabric, which results in the "fold" of each piece. I hope you understand. A hug! |
