My Second Quilt For Ro's NY Homeless Veterans Charity-Scrappy+EASY

1 Attachment(s)
I just finished my second quilt for Ro's Veterans Charity, will get them both in the mail Monday Morning! Started this one yesterday, so finished in two days. I call this my "Five Easy Pieces" Charity quilt pattern because each block has just five large pieces. I used more of the masculine fabric I had in my stash. I will post the directions for this one in the Tutorial Section of the Board. It finishes at a nice large throw size, 58" x 72". Great for scraps, fat quarters or yardage. I have also made it in pastel florals, brights and black and whites. Also good for larger print fabrics.

No, JuneBillie, I made the others and donated them without taking photos. I have gotten better at taking photos to post, but back then, before I was active on this Board, I didn't do a very good job of keeping records/photos of my quilts.

What a great charity quilt. It's so difficult to come up with a pattern and colors that work for a man's quilt. You did a great job.

QuiltnNan 12-05-2015 08:33 PM

very nicely done

I love it!!! You do such beautiful quilts and this one is in my favorite colors----neutrals, browns and golds. Can't hardly wait to see the tutorial. How will you title your tutorial so I can find it easily? Thanks so much for sharing.
