WOW!!!!!!!

Last Grandma: I have an electric kettle and wonderful tea cups DH bought for me last Christmas. No m'wave, but the kitchen is right across the garage. I carry in my coffee in a covered travel mug. No need to even go outdoors in bad weather. Thanks for you comments. Hearing from others helps us appreciate our blessings!

I would be in heaven also with all that space. I too would not come out much if I had bare essentials for food and drink. Lucky gal, you are!.

Wow! and I thought I had a fabric and thread stash! Been doing organizing these past few days as I can never find anything if I don't do it once in awhile. I will send a pic of my "studio" soon. I was lucky enough when we built our new home last year, to get a separate sewing house linked by porch and breezeway. Has a big bath ( I keep my batting in the shower stall!)and a small kitchenette for a small fridge, ice machine, microwave, small sink and hot water dispenser for making iced tea. Yes, in TX we drink iced tea all year long! I call my sewing space "my lair" and hubby knows when I disappear that is where I am likely to be. Does anyone have a method of storing scraps that keeps them flat? My two baskets overfloweth and it is a royal mess. I was trained by my quilting teacher ( a former first grade teacher who had infinite patience with me) to NEVER throw a scrap larger than a 2X2 away! I just cannot do it. Help! I am a a fabric junkie..............

LOL! I keep batting, pillow inserts, and other bulky stuff in the tub/shower. No one has ever showered out in the studio bath. Would need to give me a "10 minute warning" if they wanted to!
