Beautiful!!! I assume those snowflakes are machine embroideries. I love using machine embroidery in my quilting. I also do the quilting on the machine. I also am new to this board. I make all my Christmas gifts, and usually incorporate the embroidery machine into the gifts. I love making table runners; an easy to manage project, and very impressive when finished.

Ohh, it is sew pretty. I get very jealous when I see a quilt made with an embroidery machine. The machine is on my wish list. The patterns that you selected and the way you placed them in the quilt make me smile.

Thank you ALL for your wonderful thoughts and praises! Yes all the blocks, including the center Snowman face is all machine embroidered! That was the very first thing or project I ever embroidered.

The lady I gave the quilt to cryed when she got it! That made me feel good that my quilt had that much of an impact! All I can say is the response to receiving a homeade quilt is priceless!

Fantastic - I love how the quilting mimics the black fabric with the swirls.

All of the fabrics are blue. The Backing is a dark blue with the swirls! Maybe I should have turned on some lights when I took the picture! I found it on a quilt trip that my quilt group and I went on. The only parts not blue is of course the Crome color embroidery thread, and the color that they used to quilt it at the quilt store. Thanks for looking!

Love this, can you tell us what embroidery machine you have and where the design comes from please. Trick is getting enough designs to make a full quilt without repeating when one purchases designs, this does not look like any repeats are in it. Well done!

Thank you!!! You are correct, there are NO REPETE designs!!! Everyone of the flakes are different! I have never seen any two snowflakes look the same! Espically if they are really falling from the sky! I am using a Janome MemoryCraft 350, and I bought my flakes from several different online embroidery places. I used the WordArt Flakes, Symbolic Flakes and a few Free Standing Lace Flakes. After I was done would you believe I found MORE flakes that I liked!!! I am thinking about doing another quilt of flakes!!!!
