Love crumb blocks. I'm about due, too, to get a bunch made. Thanks for the push.

I know what you mean about the multiplication factor, my theory is that they fluff up and gain volume, I never seem to make a dent in my stash, no matter how hard I try.

For me, the easiest size to work with was 6 1/2 inch or 8 1/2.

But I enjoy making them any size. It is just mindless fun, a real 'stress buster and stash buster'. But sometimes it seems that I have more crumbs left than what I started with ... they multiply when you aren't looking, LOL.

It's it fun to fussy cut the pictures from your material.

This looks like a fun and functional blocks. Nice touch with the fussy cuts. What a great way to use up those ‘can’t throw away’ fabrics that can barely be used because of it’s size. You did a great job.......oh I mean those scraps did a great job of falling into place........by magic.
I have gotten bad lately as I save the smallest of tid-bits for hand applique.
I think I am going to follow your good example and put some of those larger pieces to use. Thanks

This is an easy non-thinking quilt to make and that is just what I need while watching a movie during the evening hours. Plus, like you, I have baskets of odd stuff! But making a freestyle log cabin around a funky bug or animal would make great Project Linus quilts and clear out my baskets. Gonna give it a try. And, if you do not mind, I am going to use your idea for my next charity quilts. Thanks.

I really like the way characters and animals are in the quilt. What a cute idea.
