Another one just back from the long arm quilter and ready for binding!!!!!!! I did hand quilting/stippling for the center panel - the flowers, leaves and blocks are machine appliqued......
This was really my first full size quilt top - so glad to get it finally finished....or it will be finished soon!!!!!

love the colors and applique - these remind me more of black eyed susans than sunflowers - must be northern sunflowers not Kansas sunflowers.

The pattern that gave me the idea of the flowers was a Purple Cone FLower..but I have a special history and love of and for sunflowers...so I decided that the coneflowers, with a change of colors...brown and gold..would become my own sunflowers.....
so VOILA!!!! For me - these are Sunflowers :-)
