Just finished this one. One of the kind ladys on this site supplied the pattern out of an old quilting magazine. I again thank her. This was fun to do and I made it reversable also. It mesasures 30" across. Thanks for looking
I stippled the center. First time and I like it. close up of one of the flowers This is the backside which could be used if desired. |

beautiful...can you share the name of the magazine? :D
lovely!
that is beautiful!
It is gorgeous!!!! I still have a lot of practice to do with machine applique.
No was not hard.Very easy. The hardest part was cutting out 120 petals. LOL!!! I plan to make another in pinks. The butterfly was an error. Just had my machine gone over and a little speck of oil hit it on the last petal I was appliquing. Didn't know what to do, so added a butterfly right over it. Took care of it.
Very attractive and well made. Congratulations.
That turned out absolutely beautiful!

How did you do the edges of your applique? By machine? And if so what type of stitch?
That is so sweet, spring hurry up.
That is beautiful!
beautiful!
Yes I did the edges of the applique with my machine. Used the blanket stitch on the leaves and real small tight zig zag on the rest. They are applied with the wonder under and then sewn. Very easy. I do all my applique this way.
Lovely, very nice job
