I made this for my friends grandson. I often buy fabrics that I think are cute and then wonder why; but hold on to them and eventually they are perfect. My friend owns a construction company and the little boy's father is a builder. This was their first child and when my friend told me they were having a baby boy the "lightbulb" came on. I knew when I bought this material I would someday have a use for it. Perfect. The red border has nuts and bolts that don't show up well in this picture.

What a lovely idea, I think that I'll have to make my
Texas granddaughter one like it, she has a 1 year old son.

The father is a contractor, and my RN granddaughter has
helped him remodel the house they are in now.

I'll have to applique this one, haven't seen any material like
that around here.
