What a thoughtful gift. I can see the thought you put into it, the colors go so well together and are a great choice.
The patterns you traced out are perfect and the quilting fits the space.

That is a very pretty quilt, I think. My sister made a quilt out of the flowered fabric and it turned out so pretty. (if I have a picture of it, I'll share it later. She doesn't like to put anything on the board, even though she does lovely work) Thanks for sharing.

If I don't like the colors or the pattern of the quilt I have a hard time completing. You did good though. I happen to love the pattern and the fabrics that you chose.

I'm about 6 weeks behind in reading a lot of these posts, but I love this quilt! I must have a little of my grandmother in me...her favorite color was lavender/purple. You did a beautiful job!

I have never heard of a tube quilt, but I love yours, great colors, can you tell me what a tube quilt is.

If you go to Missouri quilt co website you can search tube quilting and you'll find a tutorial. It's easier to watch it than describe it.:-)
