Name of quilt: headache! :? The colours - oh my what was I thinking? I tried Ricky Tims convergence technique with all my own dyed material (probably where the problem started with the choice of colours). Oh well, again will notch this one up to experience! I certainly prefer the back of this quilt. This was a solid piece of fabric - can't take any credit here! :lol:

I'm sure some folks will think it is beautiful, even if its "mother" doesn't!
(That back fabric would be an interesting one to use as a quilting design along the curves, ignoring the front.)

It is all in the eye of the beholder. It is not ugly by all means!! I think it looks very nice. I do love the backing fabric but the front looks great as well. Don't put yourself down!!!

Love the front and back of this quilt. I think you should change the name of your topic to 'my most challenging quilt for 2010' because it is far from ugly. We can be so hard on ourselves sometimes can't we !

I really like it! I think maybe you have just tired of looking at it - put it away for a while. Later take it out and look at it again with fresh eyes. You will probably find that you like it again. If not I will PM you w/my address and it can live with me-LOL JK!!

I personal think thats it right down pretty , front and back, don't see anything wrong with it and the colors are very coming to it :D :thumbup:

i think it's awesome!! i love the design and the colours work great together. i really like seeing something new and different. i think it would be perfect for any teen or young person. maybe it just doesn't fit with your decor or something? it's probably one of the 'cooler'ones i've seen in a while

Hey, that's pretty and I love the choice of colors. They are bright and cheerful and will be loved by anyone who is lucky enough to get it as a gift.

It's a beautiful quilt. Put it away for awhile and if you still hate it when you take another look, ship it north to Canada! We're in the middle of a huge snow storm, school buses are cancelled and many roads are closed. Another quilt would be welcomed!

I don't think this is ugly - I really like the color choices and appreciate the time and talent it took. Every quilt is filled with love.
