My inspiration for this came from Jenny at MSQ Co. (the 4th of July jellyroll was one of her daily specials) and I watched one of her on-line demo's for doing a log cabin quilt. The rickrack added to the binding was an idea from a quilting friend who demonstrated this at a mini class given at the local quilt show last summer. I think I'll snuggle under it up north this summer as we watch the fireworks!

Now that is a very unique wonderful quilt !!!!! I love it and would have never have thought of doin it this way, TILL NOW!!!! Thanks a bunch

Beautiful I love log cabins and in the process of making a variation of one now. Following directions out of a Log Cabin Fever book. Directions aren't all that easy to follow.

Very clever placement of the blocks...and the rick rack edge is such a great addition - not just to this one, but to any quilt.
