Thanks for sharing. The easier the flying geese the better. Great looking quilt!

Amazing how nicely all those different fabrics play together.

This is really, really pretty. I can see it also being done in scrappy browns, golds, oranges and red for fall. Thanks for giving the link.

Lovely quilt, love it & I normally don't care for many "greens" but your colours are gorgeous.

Really like this!! Good job.

I just printed the pattern. I live in Michigan and we have so many beautiful trees. I have been collecting green fabric for several years thinking that I would find a pattern to use that would honor our tree covered state. I think I found it! Thanks for the posting and for the vision to see the red and green Christmas quilt in new colors!

Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised when I logged on today an saw this quilt top! You are more than welcome for any inspiration I may have given. Love your colors, green is probably my favorite color, have more of that color fabric in my stash than any other. When I made mine, I was using up some Christmas fabric making a quilt to display on our bed during the holidays! I am thrilled I inspired someone! You did a lovely job! I used the Lazy Girl Flying Geese ruler when I made mine, no waste at all, no corners to cut off and very easy and quick, you make 4 at a time perfect flying geese, goes very fast...I highly recommend it! Enjoy your 'inspired' top!

Your quilt makes me think of the north woods in Wisconsin. You did such a fabulous job with the colors.

The quilt is really beautiful with all the greens and blues. I'm sure they will treasure it.

Thank you all so much. So many great ideas. You have made some beautiful quilts. @June: When googling river scene quilts I did not see the Winnie the Pooh river fabric. I ordered 3 yards of that from Ebay. I love the Molokini Bay quilt. That may have to be his next one. You are all great help!
