Beautiful job.

PattyH 12-11-2010 03:58 AM

I made one that looks exactly like yours. I made one with Christmas reds for my cousin and one a wine/maroon for my sister. The instructor was right - the gold bias is about $20 a spool and it takes a spool and a half. But, I love mine!

PattyH 12-11-2010 03:59 AM

Did you mean $18.99 per spool?????

quilt3311 12-11-2010 04:42 AM

That is beautiful and yes the trim is what is so expensive.

twospoiledhuskies 12-11-2010 04:50 AM

This turned out great - love it

#1piecemaker 12-11-2010 05:50 AM

Ohhhhh Kathy. I love it. You did a wonderful job. It is so pretty. I'd be proud to have that on my table.

Karyn 12-11-2010 06:02 AM

Kathy, that runner is stunning. Well worth the cost to make it. Can you imagine what the class would cost now? Your runner is priceless, an heirloom to be passed on.

Patty, I would love to see it and your sister's, as well. I can just imagine it in the wine/maroon colors.

I'm sorry, that copyright thing does apply. You could get it here, though.

Sorry. I don't know what it is. I don't have a package from it. I'm sure others know. I do know that I had to use a twin needle to stitch it down.

amorerm 12-11-2010 12:45 PM

WOW !! This is wonderful !!

bstroud51 12-11-2010 01:38 PM

This was also my first runner. The class cost was $25.00 but then was told the cost of the trim. $18.00 per roll and it needed 1.5 rolls.
