Welcome to the board,Adalia. Your quilt is a great job.

You are so correct, there are many talented quilters on this site. These quilters are always willing to help if you hit a snag. Just remember, we all had to start somewhere. Be proud of your first quilt. Now. get bush and start sewing...you have many more beautiful quilts to design and create.

I think you did a great job on your first quilt. Love your color choices. No one sees your mistakes like you do. If you don't point them out (like I used to), they'll never see them. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your next quilt. Keep up the good work.

greaterexp 07-12-2010 08:38 AM

Adalia I think you did a wonderful job. Making your first quilt using your Mother's clothes was a great idea.

Ditter43 07-12-2010 10:46 AM

We are always too critical of our own work! That is a great looking quilt!! Keep up the good work!

Love to stitch 07-12-2010 11:27 AM

It makes me want to snuggle it around me - well if it wasn't to hot!

hilda Vest 07-12-2010 12:21 PM

With a first quilt, the most important thing is that you finished it. It's easy to start a project and get discouraged. The colors are nice and it looks quite neat.
Pat yourself on the back and keep going!

Twilliebee 07-12-2010 12:29 PM

Congratulations, Adalia! Your quilt is great and I love the colours.
