I did it! I did it! I'm almost embarrassed to post my first quilt. I've been look around the forum and all of your work is soooo beautiful and perfect. This is my very first attempt, and I look forward to getting much more practice.
Don't look too close--you'll see all of my errors. |
I looked close and don't see a one! Congratulations to YOU for a job well done! Cute pattern and color choices.
Quilting is just a lot of practice! Enjoy |
You did an awesome job on your quilt. Good job & keep up the good work!
Beautiful job! Can't go wrong with a 9-patch, and yours looks great!
you did a great job, thanks for sharing your 1st quilt with us
really nice! Good job!
Good Job. The beginning of a wonderful life of quilts!
I sure looks alot better than my first quilt did. Great choice of colour.
I think it looks great!! I have to admit too, that my first quilt did not look this good  .....You did a wonderful job!! Thanks for sharing!! I am looking forward to see more of your work!! :D
errors-schmerrors. Big deal, nothing is perfect, you're trying that's all that matters. I think its cute, and it will keep someone warm, and make them very happy.
You did a great job. I love it.
With all the quilt patterns that there are out there no one has ever come up with anything that looks more snuggly, warm and "homey" than a 9 patch. Good job, keep going.
Don't look too closely at anyone else's either. If you ever run into anyone that tells you that they can or have made a perfect quilt, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. If they'll lie about their quilting, they'll lie about anything. Practice makes all of us better but it will never make us perfect. |
Very nice - I love it!
nice job!!
Very pretty! You did a great job! Good for you!
Cute! That quilt makes me smile! Good Job!

I think it looks great and so warm and comfortable.
It looks great! Time to move on... LOL what's next?
I don't see any errors. It looks like a very comfy, cuddly quilt to me.
Great job Adalia! Who will be the lucky recipient of that quilt?
Why are we so critical of our own work?
Looks good to me  Keep up the great work
I think it's awesome! Please keep quilting & posting pictures. You are doing great!
It looks so warm and comfy!
All I see is a very pretty quilt
You did a great job. There is no way I would post a pic of my first quilt. Besides you have to remember we are most critical of our own work, so don't be so hard on yourself. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see number 2.
I'm sending you a great big pat on the back! Very good and never be ashamed to show your work. Keep up the good work. Your skills will improve with every quilt you make. Remember, we all had a first quilt. Very good job.
Beautiful quilt - isn't it a great feeling to make/give a "hug" for/to someone else? Bet you have already started your next one!
Well, done, very good first one made, I wish my first one was that good! lol
Awesome job... looking forward to seeing more from you
I think that is a very nice quilt, first one or not. Keep up the good work, you are off to a great start!
Welcome from North Central PA. |
If this is your first one, then you've hit the road running!!
GO girl, and keep on quilting. You've started a life long hobby that will stay with you all your life. I like your choice of colors, they go together very well. Whoever gets your quilt will cherish it. |
Well done, it looks great. You can be very pleased with yourself.
You have done a super job! Congratulations, you should be very proud!
Great job! Thanks for posting.
Beautiful 9 patch, did you remember to sign it and date it?
None of us started out any differently then you did. Great job.
It's adorable! You should be proud -- show us more!
**I'm a new quilter too -- and tend to be too demanding/critical of myself; however, I'm realizing quickly that it's the affection and the effort that I put into a project that makes quilting satisfying, not perfection (not attainable anyway, IMHO!) :-) |
