My very own quilt show...in my bedroom!!!
 

Ok so the other day I posted my scrappy king quilt on the bed that I tied. Well, Here is what my room looks like now! We went and got some matching curtain rods and hung all these quilts in our master bedroom. The quilts hanging I had up for sale and I didnt get a bit on them. SO, I decided to take them off the sale list and hang them up myself! And boy am I glad I did. I almost cried when the first two were hanging. It was an overwhelming feeling of joy to see my own quilts up on display...even if it is at our own house. Now I can wake up looking at my wonderful quilts that I made! It might look too cluttered to some because of all the scrappiness there is in there. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it makes the room look! Love the panoramic picture view I got!

With this weather (even in FLA) you can also use the extra insulation!

Love! What a wonderful display....So many quilters give everything away....it is great to see your beautiful collection. I recently hung my favorite quilt over the dining room sliding glass door.

Looks great to me. This is essentially what I am planning to do on all our outside walls.

I like it! Our room is about the same size as yours and thought big things on the walls would make it look and feel shut in. Boy, was I wrong! They open the room up. Ok, this may be overkill, but how about some quilt top valances and replace the entire curtain? Great Job. Ph, and it was creative to hang the center quilt above the bed as an overhang instead of full length or like the others.

Wow, how nice...Thanks for sharing...I've got some of my stuff hanging in the hallway and in my bedroom, I enjoy it every day.

I know what you mean!! My DD has hung all the quilts I made for her everywhere & when I go visit her I am amazed at how beautiful they are & So proud too! I feel like I gave her a piece of me to have when I'm gone! Your quilts are marvelous & I would love to wake up seeing those too!

Beautiful. I cannot imagine that these didn't bid/sale for they are wonderful.I can only think it must be the economy situation.Anyway, they are displayed perfectly. I too would love to see the one of the chair as well, it has the colors that I like and plan soon for my first bargello attempt. Hint,hint...open it up and photo...Please?LOL! Seriously, it is a wonderful way to open up the eyes in the morning and see your art on the walls.Thank you for sharing this.
