Very lovely, whatever you decide to do with them. I know my local senior center would love to hang them. I bet yours would too.

what a brilliant idea - I have several done by a cousin of my husband's and she passed away with no one to take any of her handiwork - thank you so much for this idea - I can make a throw or ??? now! Depends on how many I have, I never counted when no one wanted this "stuff". I love "stuff"............. maybe why my son thinks I'm a fabric and notions hoarder! Yours turned out gorgeous! So pretty!

I'd go with Tartan. It is so very pretty, and soft looking. I love it.

Nice job. Have you seen Cindy Neadham's quilts where she incorporates vintage hankies and linens? I can't figure out how to copy the link, but if you go to Pinterest, she has lots of images there.

It's beautiful. Your quilting is awesome.

Very pretty! I would audition a dark green to repeat that edging.

I can't take credit for this idea. I'm in a Facebook group called Quilting Vintage. Awesome group. I've really learned a lot there. Good luck with your doilies! |
