My VW Bug quilt for my husband
 

I was able to collect many cloth license plates from places I visited during the Row by Row specials this summer. As a VW bug was our first car many years ago, I created my version of our 1963 Bug. He loves it and I love to see the smile from our visitors to this idea. It is backed with minky and very soft.
Have a wonderful 2015 sewing year!

This is adorable!! I had a VW for about 3 months and loved it. Mine was a light blue. Similar to the one in the bottom row.

I would have a bug today but my Jeep is paid for. LOL!

Wonderful quilt! You must of scrambled to get so many license plates. Most of the places I went they were sold out of the license plates. I think the demand far exceeded their expectations.
