Nearly 10000 pieces

I called this Stained Glass Stamina - it took me nearly 2 years to complete. One block in the lower left corner has 192 pieces in a 12 1/2" block.

Beautiful, in every way, and it does look like stained glass. Would love to see close-ups. The colors are wonderful too.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of pieces. And then, I looked at the quilt and found it absolutely breathtaking. Yes, it does look like stained glass. Wonderful job.

I too want to see more pictures and tell us about the technique. Was this from a pattern or a self creation? Absolutely beautiful!

It is lovely. I admire your dedication. If I tried that pattern, I'd call it Fast Track to the Funny Farm. No way would I get that done.

It is all paper pieced. Can't remember the name of the book - wish I could take credit for a self creation but alas I can not.

It's beautiful! You are an artist!
Now, for my second thought: 192 pieces in one 12.5 inch block?!! I don't like to have that many pieces in 1 entire quilt! |
I'm sorry but the pic I see looks like painted flowers, leaves scattered about.......or are these appliqued with batiks.....even when I clicked twice as recommended the close up was not.........lower left has one flower in it...am I seeing the right pic?
|
