I would say 1950's prints for the most part. During the late 40's and early 50's prints were much brighter and geometric than they had been pre-WWII.

I have no idea. It is very pretty and I hope you can save it if at all possible. Doesn't look in too bad a shape to me.

Thank you all so much for commenting. If the fabric is from the 30's or 40's then perhaps it was my grandmother's attempt at piecing or something from my mother's youth. I have an aunt I can ask. I will let you know if I find out anything for sure.

I feel it is from the 30's to 40's as well. I would not fuse it though. I don't think it is long term friendly. Enjoy the treasure.

It looks like 30s & some 40s to me.

A few of the fabrics look like 50's to me as well, but I would guess mostly 40's and 30's. Remember that a top is only as old as the newest fabric in it.

It's really gorgeous. If you want to use and preserve it, you might want to quilt it fairly densely, to protect from unraveling, or quilt the seams with a zig zag?
