I can either go with a white fabric or the multicolored fabric.
Oh, it's for a baby quilt. So, I'm not sure of the white. lol

My baby blanket was all white. I don't remember it staining. It was well loved. :)

I vote #2 also. It seems like too many colors for the design to come out even. I see the pattern as 3 prints and white(or something light) that divides the print.

I say step outside the box and go with black! Or you could do both! You never know until you try!

I like the first group of fabrics.
