I like no sashing. or if the bandana is dark blue. but use a dark solid blue.
I like it best without the sashing.
Yes use sashing, I like the gold. It works all the way around...
No sashing!
I really like the secondary pattern without the slashing as well!
Either way would be fine, but I prefer without.

I am in total agreement with bearisgray. I prefer the no sashing, but, the yellow/gold if you do sash it. Love the quilt.
No sashing. I would use a border around the whole top, the disign will "float".
No sashing.. Like bearisgray I like the secondary pattern you get putting it together without the sashing.
nice masculine quilt! I like the dark red....I think it makes the blocks stand out better!
Such wonderful piecing...no sashing to show off the great secondary design.....awesome fabrics....
I like it without but I like the gold sashing if you decide to sash it. It may depend on the size you want it.
By all means, no sashing!
I think a black sashing would look great.
No sashing does make a nice pattern but the gold sashing gives it some depth.
I prefer no sashing. I think it suits the fabric better.
I agree, no sashing is the best
I like number 1
I would like to see it with black sashing. Did everyone see Anita's post on page 5. Cool.
I vote for no sashing
I'm torn between no sashing and the gold sashing - good luck!
I think it's far more powerful without any sashing at all. The sashing, especially the last two, interrupts the flow of that leopard print, I think, and makes it much less dramatic.
So, no sashing at all, imo. Lovely blocks, by the way! Great combination of the black/white western print with the leopard! Can't wait to see the whole thing finished. |
I noticed that some intersections are off also. I think the yellow/gold or black sashing works best. No red.
I vote no sashing. It creates an interesting sub pattern
I am the "odd man out" on this one--I really like the dark red sashing... I think it shows up the blocks much more. Good luck with whatever you choose, and remember there are NO quilt police so whatever you do it is going to be just lovely.
no sashing. what are your borders?
I like the first, with no sashing. I like the way it flows together.
In my opinion - no sashing. Lovely colours - it will be a stunning quilt.
I'd say no sashing! But I agree with Tartan, if they don't line up......I just finished a basket weave, was so careful, the blocks don't line up! I'll probly donate it!
I agree with no sashing. The secondary pattern is great!
Well, I like it best with the light red, because it seemed very busy to my eyes and hard to see the pattern, and the 3rd picture with the light red, made it more relaxing to me:) interesting! It will be beautiful when you are done!
Which one do you really like? That is the one you should go with! |
No sashing needed. Get secondary pattern with no sashing.
Ilike it best without sashing.
Gold or black sashing
i vote for no sashing
I like the no sashing, myself
Definitely no sashing!
My vote is no sashing. I love your choice of fabrics. Good job!
I don't know if you've made your decision yet - I like no sashing on this one. Beautiful :)
I usually always like sashing, but with that particular design, I like the quilt without the sashing.
