Loooove the pinwheels and all the other fabric :D

I must admit that I agree with you, a nice sunny yellow would be fab with the blue IMO

hairquilt 09-17-2011 04:19 AM

great block but I don't care for the green either!

Yooper32 09-17-2011 04:34 AM

The green is OK in my eyes, but the one thing that bothers me is the border of the blue figured fabric that the pinwheel is made of. I would make that border narrower so that it doesn't hog the spotlight away from the pinwheel. Just my humble opinion. Blue and green are my current favorite colors.

eeraemore 09-17-2011 04:35 AM

I like the colors. Blue and green are calming.

katsewnsew 09-17-2011 04:42 AM

I like your color choices, maybe use a little darker green, love the pinwheels.

pstrwife 09-17-2011 04:47 AM

I like it , too.

catladyquilts 09-17-2011 04:54 AM

the colors are really good together

Mommomjoann 09-17-2011 04:56 AM

Love the blur...but no green.how about a light ( not bright) small yellow print?

grammo 09-17-2011 05:10 AM

I like it a lot. Love the colors.

glorcour 09-17-2011 05:56 AM

I agree that the green has to go - seem to be too bright/dark and the wrong tone. AA softer green would be my choice

GramaLaura 09-17-2011 06:19 AM

It will look beautiful on your white table. The colors are great :-D

ChildoftheUniverse 09-17-2011 06:35 AM

Beautiful color scheme... I'd add a touch of white somewhere, perhaps just a small border between the center block and outside border...

keegancak 09-17-2011 06:40 AM

Love your color combination. Very pretty!

Vat 09-17-2011 06:50 AM

I am not crazy about blue but most people love it. But I really don't like that green, maybe another shade of green.

shopaholic97 09-17-2011 06:52 AM

I love it except for the green it just doesn't to the pop for the rest of the colours

ranger 09-17-2011 07:11 AM

I like the green with the blues...except the corner squares. I'd continue that lovely blue around the pretty floral blue.. or use a different color as a cornerstone, (white??) just not the green. That's my opinion.

cyniree 09-17-2011 07:16 AM

Looks nice together.

Dolphyngyrl 09-17-2011 07:39 AM

love the colors

yayaquilts 09-17-2011 07:41 AM

I like your choices of color!!

Ginger2010 09-17-2011 07:43 AM

Excellent choices!

wolflady 09-17-2011 07:46 AM

Instead of the green, how about white. Then use your solid blue broader, the the print broader on outside.

brewsa 09-17-2011 08:04 AM

I like it. I think the colors will really pop with the white.

debbieoh 09-17-2011 08:13 AM

Love it. EXCEPT I'm really not crazy with the green. But than I'm not a lover of green so that might be why.

dphelps 09-17-2011 08:22 AM

Lookin' good to me.

sewmorethings 09-17-2011 08:31 AM

Looks good to me and would look really nice on a white table, good choice

Kappy 09-17-2011 08:45 AM

OK, honesty it is, not to fond of the green, I think everything else would "pop" if you dropped that particular green and tried another color. As others have mentioned maybe a little yellow or a brighter green as a narrow first border. Love the blue!!! But..as it was mentioned before, our computers do not always display correctly! Not sure what style your room is or what color the walls are etc., that can have a big effect, but have you considered prairie points on the outside. They always add a nice touch. With that being said...if you like the colors...go for it and do post pictures!

dellareya 09-17-2011 08:48 AM

Looks good to me.

grannypat7925 09-17-2011 08:58 AM

Looks like good choices to me!

Me too. Asoft yellow would look very nice,

Wanabee Quiltin 09-17-2011 10:22 AM

I love the blues, not crazy about that green. Like the pattern too.

matraina 09-17-2011 10:34 AM

I have to agree with Susan Margaret. I like the blues but I don't think the green goes with it. It's too dull. Just my opinion.

Diane on Summit 09-17-2011 10:57 AM

I would use the color of your plates or the room walls to determine the runner's colors. If it blends well with those, I think I'd choose a green that was a bit more saturated - it's kinda hard to tell in this photo, but it looks a bit muted compared to the depth of the blue.

snownannie 09-17-2011 11:07 AM

Looks good! Snownannie

plainpat 09-17-2011 11:30 AM

All pretty fabrics.Think I'd make the pinwheel with the blue, set on the print & then a bit lighter/brighter green for BG. JMO

mucky 09-17-2011 12:34 PM

I think the blue is a little bright and takes away from the print.

JanieH 09-17-2011 01:25 PM

I love the blockbut do not particularly like the green Maybe a lighter, brighter green?

donnaluigi 09-17-2011 01:40 PM

I think the green could be brighter
