Ok, here are six squares sewn together...

I was originally going to do 4 across and 5 down, but now I'm thinking 3 across and 4 down with a border. Thoughts?

I love your mini quilt and I'm sure your Uncle will love it too! I can see a window box with a little child laying on a couch all snuggled up in the quilt waiting for Santa to arrive!

Keep going love it.

very pretty. post the finished quilt when done; alternating with some of the smaller colors with a solid block will make these pop!

It's just beautiful. I love your colour choices and the work is so perfect. He will be thrilled. Hope you post more. Do you do lots of miniatures? You've sure got a talent for it. How do you do it? I'd love to see a tutorial for miniature techniques hint hint LOL. Congrats on a marvellous piece of work.

Thanks everyone!

Twilliebee - no secret, except I paper piece....so maybe that is the secret. I have pieced with pieces smaller than a fingernail and it is all possible with paper piecing. I really enjoy making smaller pieces! I will probably make several more after this one is finished!
