Now, that is super cute !! It's adorable.

I like that you added batting. I've made them before too but haven't used batting. I know I would like that much better because it gives it some body. Very nice.

I love the little buttons you found.
I gift these table runners too. My friends love them.
They are now asking for "colors and themes" too

This is so charming and nice! I have often wondered what the ten minute runner would look like quilted. When does she get the gift? I am excited to hear what she said.

I gave it to her on Saturday and she loved it!

Very nice, I love your fabric (no calories) and the buttons are a very nice touch.

Google 10 minute table runner. You will find detailed and easy instructions in several different places. Choose the one you like best. And if you have some prequilted fabric on hand--scraps from other projects, use them for the focus fabric. That makes flashy and fast. froggyintexas

Very nice table runner-love the idea of quilting on it.

A pre-quilted center panel is a great idea!

My friend had a birthday and I had no idea what to give her, had already given her bags, pot holders, etc., and was at a loss when I remembered that she loves cupcakes and thought I would give the 10-Minute Table Runner pattern a try. FYI, it doesn't take ten minutes, but it certainly is faster to put together than a standard runner. I added batting so I could make it a little more fancy with some quilting. From start to finish, it took three hours, compared to the usual 10-15 hours I spend on a pieced table runner with binding. Super quick, easy, and would make a great hostess gift as well. Measure 12 1/2 x 39 1/2"

Have a beautiful day!

P.S. She loved it!

Your table runner is cute - like the cupcakes! I made one a while back and also used some batting - it gives it a little more body I think.

Nicely done

It turned out AWESOME! LOVE the cupcake fabric!! Isn't it wonderful that such a simplistic pattern can look so sophisticated and elegant!! And... I am sew happy to learn it took longer than 10 minutes for you also!! Mine definitely took longer than 10 minutes too!! ;)
