I would love to see a close-up of a block. I love the design and the layout. (I think I have that pattern!!) I'd go with the echo around the flowers and a cable in the sashings.

It took my breathe away!!! How many flower and greenery colors did you use? That is my hardest or should I say feared job, picking colors. Simply amazing.

Beautiful quilt, you did a great job on your applique. I agree with the others that think just echo the flowers and put something viney in the white spaces. Are you going to hand quilt it?

Whew!!! That is gorgeous, you did a fabulous job on it! If it were mine... :D (and I'll be happy to send you my addy  ) I would echo once around the applique, then I would put together 1 of the shapes-either the flower by itself or the triangle- of the applique in the "large" intersections" to form a square, then I would use a double vine in all the open sashing spaces. I would quilt in the ditch in the border...but I still consider myself a newbie...so I'm sure there are much better solutions out there than mine. Heck...just send it to me...I'll think about how to quilt it :D :D

Without actually going back and counting each one, I am going to say 20 or more different colors. I used to be really scared of picking colors, but I think just go for it! Like on the greens there are some blue-greens and some limey greens that look horrid together but once thy are thrown in to the quilt they look great. Same way with my Starry Log Cabin with the reds and blues, they dont match at all but once in the quilt they work.
