Beautiful quilt. Quilting depends on your skill and how much time you want to spend quilting. I love the cross hatching idea. Echoing around the beautiful emboridery would look great also. Whatever you decide, your mom will absolutely love it!!

That is a very pretty quilt. I have a lot of flowers and it sure is cooler to look at them on a bed than out in this heat! I was wondering if you would mind to share the sashing material's name. I have a project in mind that would lovely in this fabric. Is there some identification in the selvedge?? Please post again after the quilting is done.

This is what I would do also, than just do an all over pattern for the rest as it won't show much anyway. Just my opinion!!!!
