I would tuck it under the pillows. I also would take the top boarder off. No one sees it on the bed anyhow.

You can always fold extra under your pillows! I can't have a quilt that's too long. Mine are always too short and my feet stick out sometime during the night. I would be in heaven to have one that is "too long".

Thank you for all the lovely comments . The general opinion seems to be to leave the borders, so I guess I'm ready to sandwich the layers and quilt it. It will look better than when I had it on the floor to take the picture. :)
