A border should act as a "picture frame". I believe the print does just that.

I like the print, but if you want a more Victorian or more feminine look I'd go with the pink.

I love the flower print binding! It picks up the pinwheels even more.

Actually I like both but that is not helpful to you. Which one makes you feel good about the work? That is the one I would choose!

Depends on the look you want - the pink is softer, but I prefer the print myself. Think it ties it all in and gives it pizazz!

I like the pink. It doesn't take away from the blocks. You want the blocks to be the focal point.

I like the printed fabric better than the pink. The pick seems to fade out the edge of the quilt.

The print is now sewn to the front. Thanks to everyone for your much needed opinions. Now to get it hand sewn to the back. Will post a picture later of the finished quilt! That baby is due Aug. 8 and we are flying up to Washington on the 16th, so I better get with it!

I really like the backing fabric better; it really makes it stand out. The pink just fades away. Great quilt and I love the hearts quilting. I'm just finishing up a 3-d pinwheel for my grand daughter but no fancy quilting; stitch n ditch and outline each of the pin wheel; one day I'll learn.
