I think the first one looks better!

I'm working on a twin size scrappy quilt of this pattern, alternating darks and lights. It is very bright and busy. I think I will strip the blocks together to break it up. It is going to an emergency receiving home for children -- hope they like the vibrancy of it.

It's gotta be the first one. The same color. The second is just too mixed up.

I also say the first one. The design pops more in it. Post finished pics!

i like the first one also..but i would move the purple to the center, second from the top..
then you will have 2 of the teal togehter at the bottom,..so one of these will have to be moved also..

I like #1. It had a contemporary theme to it. Quilt it in something mod such as circles to offset the squares.
