I have been sewing a lot of different types of things lately and it seems like I'm changing my needles several times a day. sometimes the needles are reusable sometimes not. A friend gave me a little crocheted bown with hard candies and I got this idea of what to do with it when the candies were all gone. I can put reusable needles in a marked spot (lots of space for more spots if I need them) hide dead needles in the crochet base and packages of needles in the little box on top. This is just a mach up and I'm sure it could be made much prettier but I think it will work out great.

Very cleaver and very pretty colors.

Clever/practical/pretty.

this is so functional.... however, I am concerned about "hiding the dead needles in the crochet base"
Is there some way of having a section for dead needles? or maybe a hidden pocket or maybe a false bottom between the fabric part and the crochet part???? Maybe I am taking the " hide" to literal? love the fabric choice! |
loving it - especially the center part for holding packaged needles - mine are never where I left them.

I really like that! Great job

I don't think you need to make it any prettier--it's cute as can be, and clever, too!

Very cute and so imaginative! I made a similar thing with an old "tomato" pin cushion. Divided each section into two, labeled with size and regular point or ball point. No storage of new packets in mine tho'! Good Job!

I'd love to do a tutorial, but I don't crochet! The little yarn bowl was a gift..... Maybe I could do it with something else... will think about it and get back to ya. |
