Wow! What a great quilt! I can't wait until I have enough strings to try one, but it won't be as large as yours, maybe a throw!

Very nice! I have a big bucket of strings that I'm going to someday make into a QAYG quilt for my mom, and this is very inspiring to me.

2 for 1...good deal! Never did a quilt as you go.Mine went to LA quilter.I made a K size string quilt & had enough blocks for a couple pillow covers. & a table runner. Think there's still a few more around here somewhere.:-)

katsewnsew 08-17-2010 02:45 AM

Great looking quilt! Love those string quilts! Yours came out great, especially nice with the thin sashing! Great job!

My DH LOVES the quilt and is in AWE of my work! That is a reward in itself! :-D
Okay, tell me what you think!

I just watched the videos and downloaded the instructions. Only the link to the instructions downloaded. You will need to be connected to the internet for them to load. You should be able to print the instructions then. This seems to be a great method to do a QAYG. Thanks Ditter for the link.

smagruder 08-17-2010 05:36 AM
