Never too young...to get hooked!

My oldest granddaughter (not quite 2) walked by my makeshift design wall and voila...a couple blocks fell off...she automatically picked them up and put them back on (quite straight the first time) only to have a few more fall off...she worked diligently and the final picture says it all..."I did it!"
By the way, she moved some of the blocks around and I like her placement better. The quilt is for her momma, so it's only right that she helps grandma make it. (And yes, I've also taken her to a couple quilt shops and she's mesmerized with my sewing machine...I may have a quilting buddy in the making...yippee!). |
She is adorable. How blessed you are to have her helping you.

cute! my granddaughters are 6 & 4 and they love to help me sort scraps! i start them off with piles of different colors and let them go thru the buckets. they do a super job and have fun doing it. :)
