My DGD wants me to make bags for her gifts to her bridesmaids and the pattern instructions are a bit confusing, so I made a smaller version for myself to try out the pattern. It actually is cuter made up than the pattern looks, and not difficult to make at all. One of those times when you just do it step-by-step it's no problem. Hope you like it. really sweet and I love ticking. Is this the real thing? I can't tell from the pic. There is a cotton print ticking on the market but for totes the weight of real ticking can't be beat. Are you old enough to remember pillows and matresses
covered with ticking. Loved them.

Thanks! I'm sure I am old enough and I do remember it on pillows. I'm not sure if this is the real thing, as I got it from a bag of fabric bought at a church rummage sale. It is thicker than regular cotton and I saw som just like it in Wal-Mart the other day. It was in the section with the interfacing and batting. I didn't notice what it was called. Glad you like it!
