EEP? Or inklingo? I'd EPP, Did you buy the kits from PaperPieces.com? I don't do FB.....wish there was another way to "join" a group.......no one I know personally is doing hexies...boohoo
Geri - it's EPP and I've been making my own templates from cardstock as I decided to make mine a smaller proportion than shown in the book. I am used to doing 1 inch hexies so I couldn't imagine doing a pieced hexie that is 6 inches across. I have used freezer paper in the past and then thread basted; this time I'm glue basting with the Fons and Porters glue stick. The glue basting speeds things up a lot. Katja has a web page for this quilt along with directions for one rosette released each month. You could follow along from there but you would miss out on the interaction with the group on facebook.

Very stunning. I have never seen EPP that large. Very stunning pattern. Not one who is on Facebook so I hope you will occasionally post a photo to keep a few of us up to date.

Ok.......I too use the glue stick to baste....and have cut hexies from cardstock, old greeting cards, etc using my GO and fiskar punch, and I DO have her book.....PaperPieces.com offers a monthly ( I think) kit of this quilt along.....I also just got a book that offers larger designs(machine sewn) with templates.......tempting.....so is peeking at the FB group.......
