Here is the block I made for Sep. A little bit harder. And had to do it early as going to granddaughter's wedding, if you followed my Bridal Veil. Will post her picture on that posting when we get back. This is called Cornfield. Again one of the Angleplay patterns.

I looked at this pcture and the sides sure looked crooked but they are not

Another beautiful block!
The sides look off, but it is only because the block's pieces are triangles, not squares! And not "regular triangles" even but the canted skewed ones! It definitely adds interest!
I have the book and the fabrics! :?

You blocks look great. Iam partial to the very first one. I like the block and I love batiks. When you get your box back you will have to show us the finished product.

What a fun swap.

It has been a long time since I posted anything. Have been very busy. To make a long story short we made all 11 blocks for everybody's boxes and now have our own back. What a way to see the different blocks people have done with my material. I have to make the 12th one. Now need help from you all. I want to make either a table runner or a table cloth. Need pictures or websites, links etc. to go ahead . Rember have 12 /12in blocks. Suggestions on ways to set , adding borders, set on points , well you get the idea. Thanks everyboday

Ok It seems I ended up with only 10 blocks but no matter I will use two of my favorite patterns from the ones I made everyone else's blocks from. Here are the 10 blocks I got back

if you have 10 blocks across at 12" each block that's 120". so you're talking about a tablecloth at 120 x 120? how big is that darn table? that's kingsize.
if you add sashing, my goodness, you could tablecloth your entire dining room :D.

have you thought about two items instead of one? if you go 5 across you get 60". you could get two of those 60" squares for tablecovers. if you add sashings and/or borders, you can make it bigger.

with a little imagination, you could make quilts for two single beds.
