Very nice! I was 28 when I had a total hysterectomy done. I was so glad that I wasn't going to have all of those issues anymore. I'm 52 now and have never had a complication from that procedure. Just rest and get well fast! :)

Best wishes on your surgery. I learned howto quilt during my recovery of the same surgery (age 46)!! I knew absolutely NOTHING about quilting.... but learned by hand sewing a BOM quilt top from Joanns. FYI.... I felt like a new woman after I recovered. ;-)

Had mine at 37 years old, don't remember bed bound. Today is 2 weeks post right kidney removal, up and about (although sore and slow).
Good luck and don't forget to breath and move, and oh yea move some more.

I had mine at many years ago at 34. Prayers go out to you for a speedy recovery. Don't try to do too much too soon, like my Mom used to say, it will still be there waiting for you when you are well. You know, I was talking with my girlfriend the other day about the crazy things I used to do when I was young and ambitious. I remember when I used to get on my hands and knees and paste wax the floors, then buff them with the brushes, then the felt pads and finally the buffing pads, they would shine so pretty. Or when I would stand by the washer and wash the grass stains by hand out of my sons socks before putting them through the washer. I look back on that and think, "I must have been crazy", but that's what I wanted to do at the time. Now, I don't have the stamina to do all of it, and to be honest with you, it doen't seem that important anymore. I would rather do something fun, like quilting. Take care of yourself and get well soon.
