This little guy was roaming the neighbourhood back in June and my daughter came to visit and promptly decided he needed a home! he was pitifully thin, dirty grey and covered in lots of sores and scrapes. At first he also could not stop eating and would come for a full can of food morning and evening and cat biscuits too.
We have called him Bimble and at the beginning of October he went for blood tests (to ensure he would not put our other two little furry guys in any kind of danger) shots for all cat disease's and we also had him neutered!
Now he is such a handsome guy and just learning to play with all the cat toys.

He's just grand
My last 2 cats were street rescues. Lulu came in at 3 (so the vet said) and lived to 23. She and I had lovely years together.
I wish you the same.

What a pretty inspector, it is great that you gave him a home. So many wouldn't have even bothered to feed him. He looks like he is so happy to be there.

jrhboxers 10-23-2011 06:08 AM

What a beautiful boy - thank you for taking him in. He will pay you back in spades for the rest of his life. I don't know how they do it, but they know when they have been rescued and return the love and devotion 1000% percent.

joyce blint 10-23-2011 06:11 AM

He reminds me of my cat in heaven "Bailey"

lodad 10-23-2011 07:13 AM

He looks so relaxed. We adopted a Russian Blue last year. We named him Boris Badenoff. Someone dumped him out when they moved. He was already neuterd and he got shots and he gets along with our other cat Schatzi and she is the boss.

CoyoteQuilts 10-23-2011 07:14 AM

He looks like he knows which side his bread is buttered on! Beautiful inspector.

girliegirl 10-23-2011 07:18 AM

he is a beauty! and took to your house right away! how are other cats with him. good looking n knows it too!

allie1448 10-23-2011 08:57 AM

Thank you all! he is finding his way with my other guys. One boy is pretty good with him but my Beautiful Bengal boy, Charlie, who is stone deaf and almost 17 and also seems to have a little dementia, is not being too nice especially if I give the new guy any attention as Charlie is very bonded with me. I just make sure Bimble gets his playtime and attention when Charlie is asleep which is quite often these days in his twilight years. We will muddle through! lol

You will find that they will all reach a compromise. There will be a few scrimmages, but they will feel each other out and establish their boundaries. I will just bet that before long, you will find Bimble curled up with Charlie or visa versa. It always seems like the ones that have the worst reactions, are the ones that turn around first.

Sandra-P 10-23-2011 10:31 AM

He sure looks healthy and happy!

butterjoy 10-23-2011 10:33 AM
