Whoo hoo! My furniture got here this morning and I spent all day putting it together. I still need to do some more organizing and do something about those messy cords. :lol:

Okay--it's waaaaayy too neat. :wink: It needs some strips strewn about, some fat quarters laying around, thread pieces sprinkled on the floor....it's getting there. :lol:

O what a nice CLEAN room. I recently lost my room to the kids and I am trying to make due with my bedroom and its no fun. I am in envy!

My room WOULD look like that but alas....i'm a bit of a slob when I get to sewing. It gets cleaned up once I am done.
Hubby actually walked in the room the other night and says...Honey, I think I need to "field day" your room.
I told him if he touched ANYTHING before I finished what I was doing, he's be missing some body parts! lol

If you do a search here, you will find pictures of my messy room. Someone wanted to know what my sewing room looked like, so I took pictures and showed them. It was quite an embarrassment, but you can tell the room is used.
I have gone to people's homes and had them show me their sewing rooms. Everything is stacked neatly and nicely. Makes me wonder HOW they ever find anything! lol
Even with my room messy, I can find what I want...usually..........:)

Wow, so clean and neat. I am looking forward to a larger sewing room one day. My fabric is all over - upstairs, downstairs, washing machine, out on the clothesline. To have everything in one room. Looks great. Post some more after you start sewing again.

ha...it is neat....and bright..my room has so many leftover furniture turned into storage for sewing that nothing matches! I did clean my room yesterday and rearranged..i have rearranged my room 6 times...yours looks great.....didn't see any fabric bins! :D

Yes, 3incollege, it is from IKEA (except for the tall white cabinet). It's called vika tore and the legs (which you can't see) are vika curry. The table tops are called vika amon.

Yes Harmony, you see 4 machines. 1 is a serger, and 1 is an embroidery/sewing machine combo and then 2 sewing machines.

My goodness what a nice neat room...I'd send photo's but I'm to ashamed...mine is a mess but I know where things are so don't touch a thing...ha ha

Marcia those lamps are filled with flat bottomed marbles in blue, green & clear. My hubby made them. I think the lamps are made from wine bottles. He has made almost all of the lamps in our house.

I think it is pretty wonderful for your husband to take an interest in you and your room to make those unique lamps. He sounds like a keeper.
