new table cloth for our 42" round table
3 Attachment(s)
being only the 2 of us and limited space we have a small 42" round dining table. yesterday I made a new tablecloth for the table-
Charley Brown is a favorite character of my husband's so I used some of that I had left over from a previous project. it is cheery & summery looking and was fun to make. I think I will make a few more with this pattern for all the seasons & holidays. I plan to make tree skirts too- but, love how this fit the table. |
Nice job. You must have a degree in geometry ! LOL

That is super cute!! It would be great for a Christmas theme! Can you tell us the pattern you used?

What a fun tablecloth.

Nicely done. My favorite was Snoopy flying, especially fighting the Red Baron.

My ruler is 19" long so I could make a 76" circle. I'm going to make some tree skirts next. |
that would make me happy every time I sat down at the table, well done!

It is very pretty.

I too use quilts for table cloths and people have a fit thinking I'm ruining the quilt. Obviously I don't serve spaghetti with it on and we don't have small children but when it gets soiled I just throw it in the washer and it's good to go again. I really like the weight of a quilted table cloth. It stays in place yet it isn't so thick that you can't set glasses on it without them tipping over. I like how you did yours with a wedge. Very nice.

Great idea.

So cute! Love the fabrics!
