New Tote Bag
 

I finished this tote bag this week. I made it a size so I could put my purse things and anything I bought at the quilt show yesterday in it. I found the fabric after someone on the board made a quilt with this fabric for their 16 year old daughter and shared it with us.

Now that is really cute and a clever way to use that material as well. What do girls like to do better than shop at quilt shows?

Thanks everyone. It's the Miranda Day Bag by Lazy Girl but I changed it a bit. I added the ties and changed the flap.

That quilt was for my 16 yr old daughter, I love your bag, I have leftover fabri I might have to make something similar, I also seen one made in a shop that was a scrappy version and I bought the pattern but different fabric for pattern.

Oh, I like that bag! The fabric is just perfect for my granddaughter! She loves shopping, name brand clothes, and accessories. Of course, what else can a 13 year old like? Thank goodness it's not boys, yet!

Thanks everyone!! The fabric is Fashionista by SPX fabrics. I had never heard of them before. A friend of mine bought this fabric also and she is going to use it to make a screen bag. I am addicted to making purses and tote bags!! I bought another pattern for a tote bag at the quilt show on Thursday!! Some of the bags I saw there were a bit ridiculous!!! I could have fit into one of them! When you get stuff in them, how do you carry them?!! It would definitely drag on the floor!!! I told my friends that I would crawl into the one big one and they could drag me around for the rest of the quilt show!!!

This bag is just adorable! I have done a quick search....does anyone know of an online source for this fabric? I have found alot of the prints in this line, but not this particular print, and I LOVE it! Would like to make a tote for my sister and friend-they are both seamstresses Thanks!
